Vision
As in sports, goals, or wins, are identifiable. These are important benchmarks to assess if the team is progressing. Similarly, Christ Tabernacle has three specific wins that are derived from its Mission Statement.
Our Mission Statement is used as a compass to enable us to identify a win and ensure that the whole team is clear about our objectives.
Goal #1: “SAVED” “At Christ Tabernacle, it is our resolve to preach Christ and see the salvation of souls.”
Whenever we create an experience (inside or outside), where someone hears and understands the Gospel and puts their faith in the risen Savior, this is a Win! By many, or by few, every story, every testimony is a success.
Goal #2: “STRENGTHENED” “We are passionate about building up the saints for works of service so that they may fulfill the will of God for their lives and for the life of the church . . .”
Every time an individual encounters the truth about Godly living, or develops relationships, so that the saints (those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ) move toward putting their faith into action - We Win! When their gifts and talents are cultivated and they become involved in the work of the Lord through the local church it is a win for the kingdom! In addition, this is a rewarding experience for the individual who finds purpose and satisfaction in their worship to the Lord through service.
Goal #3: “SHARE” “. . . and to impact our community for the Glory of God.”
As a church we believe that our impact should stretch far beyond the walls of our buildings, so that the life of Christ is put on display, and so that our community can experience Jesus.
“The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood” (John 1:14, The Message Translation).
Christ Tabernacle seeks to wrap the message of reconciliation in human form so that the impact of what God is doing inside sends ripple effects throughout the surrounding areas.
