Just Kidz
From grades K thru 5, Just Kidz is a ministry that was created to help bring the message of the love of Christ to children in a fun and age appropriate way. At Christ Tabernacle we believe that all children, regardless of their age, can know God as Lord and friend.
All the children participate in a large group where they have a time of Praise & Worship, followed by an interactive time of teaching the Word of God. Our curriculum is built around “three basic truths” every child should embrace according to what Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men”, and what we want every child to say and believe:
• I need to make the wise choice!
• I can trust God no matter what!
• I should treat others the way I want to be treated!
Each Basic Truth is amplified by a weekly key concept, based on a Core Virtue and Memory Verse as the framework for each month. Then each group is divided into small groups where this virtue is emphasized and children are encouraged to establish a consistent devotional relationship with God.
Every Sunday, hundreds of volunteers show up and work together in their unique role to create an amazing environment for our kids. Just Kidz is totally volunteer fueled and wouldn't exist without the leadership and expertise of our volunteers. Each volunteer has a part to play on our team. Some of the volunteer roles are:
