At Christ Tabernacle our mission is to REACH the lost, GROW the believer, and TRANSFORM our communities. Small groups is the primary discipleship mechanism which will help grow believers.
We believe that intentional relationships are the key to sustained discipleship. Small groups are therefore designed to provide participants with:
Community: receiving care and support as they discuss and face the issues and challenges of life in a safe environment
Growth: opportunities for spiritual growth as they study God’s word, pray, practice serving others and identify next steps
Protection: facilitator’s will pray for their small group daily

Small Groups commit to meet and remain in community with each other for at least one season. There are three, 10-12-week seasons during the calendar year (Winter/Spring, Summer, Fall).
HOW LONG DOES EACH SMALL GROUP GATHERING LAST?
Most groups meet for approximately 90 minutes. However, some free market activities may require the meeting to go longer. Groups that meet for example, for breakfast before work may run shorter (60 minutes). Each Small Group will decide the length of their meeting time with their group’s facilitator.
WHY DO SMALL GROUPS CHANGE EVERY SEASON?
Groups do not have to change however, one of the greatest attributes of a leader is a leader who can develop new leaders so we expect that each group leader will identify and equip new small group leaders.
We also acknowledge life changes may require changes in small groups as people relocate from one neighborhood to another, experience life changes, and explore new areas of passion. We welcome and celebrate those changes.
