What To Expect when You Visit Christ Tabernacle
It's ok if you're unsure of what's in store for you after you walk into church. We know that each visitor to Christ Tabernacle carries different life experiences and expectations in with them, so rest easy. Our desire is for this church to feel like home to all people -- you will be loved and welcomed here! Our team of friendly staff and volunteers is here to make your visit to Christ Tabernacle comfortable and enjoyable so that you can receive the word of God.
Parking & Transportation
In addition to free street parking, there is free parking available on Sundays for our Glendale campus, just a few blocks away at 6631 Otto Road (Otto and 66th Street), with shuttle service to and from the church. At our Bushwick campus, free street parking is available surrounding the church.
Finding a Seat
When you enter the building you will be greeted by one of our ushers and directed into the sanctuary. From there, another usher will escort you to an available seat. Doors open about 30 minutes before service.
You are encouraged to bring along your children when you visit! Christ Tabernacle has a wonderful and secure children's ministry where your child will enjoy a fun and engaging environment with age-appropriate bible study and worship. When you enter Christ Tabernacle, you will register and check-in your child at their respective classroom entrance. Three to four-year-olds attend Little Lambs in our main office building to the left of the sanctuary building. Classrooms for children ages 5 to 11 are located downstairs in the sanctuary building.
Sunday service is an opportunity for the Christ Tabernacle family to come together for a time of worship, prayer and teaching. The worship will include music from our team of musicians and singers who will show by example what it means to worship. One of our pastors will share a Christ centered life changing message.
Our Wednesday prayer meeting includes an extended time of worship, with a teaching message from one of our pastors. The services last about an hour and a half.
What to Wear
When you visit Christ Tabernacle, you will see a range of attire that's as diverse as the church family itself. Some will dress in casual street clothes, others in more formal attire. Our hope is that you will come dressed however you feel most comfortable.
