The Children's ministry
TAB KIDs BRINGs THE MESSAGE OF THE LOVE OF CHRIST TO CHILDREN IN A FUN AND AGE APPROPRIATE WAY.
At Christ Tabernacle we believe that all children, regardless of their age, can know God as Lord and friend. All the children participate in a large group where they have a time of praise & worship followed by an interactive time of teaching the Word of God.
Our curriculum is built around “three basic truths” every child should embrace according to what Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men”. We want every child to say and believe: I need to make the wise choice! I can trust God no matter what! I should treat others the way I want to be treated!
Each basic truth is amplified by a weekly key concept based on a core virtue and memory verse as the framework for each month. Each group is divided into small groups where this virtue is emphasized and children are encouraged to establish a consistent devotional relationship with God.
Every Sunday hundreds of volunteers show up and work together in their unique role to create an amazing environment for our kids. Tab Kids is totally volunteer fueled and wouldn’t exist without the leadership and expertise of our volunteers. Each volunteer has a part to play on our team. We are always looking for volunteers to help make Tab Kids a blessed experience for everyone involved.
TAB KIDS has a Place for Every Child.
Tab KIDS Jr.
Tab Kids Jr. includes our nursery, as well as a preschool setting for children ages 3 to 4 years old, where a loving, nurturing and safe environment promotes developmental growth through faith based curriculum instruction. Preschoolers learn about the love of Jesus through interactive play, activities and songs. Space is limited so early arrival is encouraged.
Tab Kids is a fun-filled learning experience that encourages children through worship, faith based curriculum, activities, games, and drama. Volunteers provide a loving, nurturing, and safe environment; they are trained to meet the needs of specific grades through small group instruction and interactions.
