What To Expect when You Visit Christ Tabernacle
It's ok if you're unsure of what's in store for you after you walk into our church. We know that each visitor to Christ Tabernacle carries different life experiences and expectations with them. So rest easy; our desire is for this church to feel like home to all people -- you will be loved and welcomed here! Our team of friendly staff and volunteers are available to make your visit to Christ Tabernacle comfortable and enjoyable so that you can hear and receive the Word of God.
Parking & Transportation
In addition to free street parking, there is also free parking available on Sundays for our Glendale campus, just a few blocks away at 6631 Otto Road (Otto and 66th Street), with shuttle service to and from the church. At our Bushwick campus, free street parking is available surrounding the church.
Finding a Seat
When you enter the building you will be greeted by our Guest Services Team. They will direct you up to the Sanctuary. From there, a member of our host team will escort you to an available seat. Our front doors typically open approximately 30 minutes before each service.
You are encouraged to bring your children to church! Christ Tabernacle has a wonderful and secure children's ministry where your child will enjoy a fun and engaging environment with age-appropriate Bible study and worship. When you enter Christ Tabernacle, you will register and check your child in at their respective classroom entrance. Infants and toddlers have a beautiful space just for them in our Nursery and Tab Kids Jr. spaces in our main office building (to the left of the sanctuary building). Classrooms for children ages 5 to 11 are located in the lower level of the sanctuary building.
Sunday gatherings are the opportunity for the Christ Tabernacle family to come together for a time of worship, prayer and teaching. Our worship will include music from our team of musicians and singers who will show by example what it means to worship. One of our pastors will share a Bible based, Christ-centered, life-changing message.
Our One Wednesday gatherings includes an extended time of worship and prayer, with a teaching message from one of our pastors. We typically gather for approximately 90 minutes.
What to Wear
When you visit Christ Tabernacle, you will see a range of attire that's as diverse as the church family itself. Some will dress in casual street clothes, others business casual, while some choose more formal attire. We are committed to welcoming you just as you are and encourage you to dress however you feel most comfortable for our gatherings.
